This Privacy Policy explains how Hypefit (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Hypefit mobile app and website (the “Service”).

• Email address, username, full name, profile photo.
• Date of birth and gender (for personalization).

Content and Activity

• Posts, reels, captions, comments, likes, dislikes, style reactions.
• Bookmarks and shares.
• Followers/following relationships.

Messages

• Direct message content and metadata (sender/recipient, timestamps).
• Message attachments (images you send).

Device and Usage

• Device identifiers, app version, OS type, and usage data.
• Push notification tokens.

Media Permissions

If you grant access, we may access your camera or photo library to upload content.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account and profile.
• Provide core features (posts, reels, comments, messages).
• Deliver notifications and alerts (including push notifications).
• Maintain safety, security, and prevent abuse.
• Improve and personalize the Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as needed:

• With service providers (e.g., Supabase for database, storage, and authentication).
• For legal reasons if required by law or to protect users.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Storage and Security

We store data using Supabase and industry-standard practices. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

5. Your Choices

• You can update your profile information in the app.
• You can opt out of push notifications via your device settings.
• You can delete your account in Settings (this permanently removes your account and profile).

6. Data Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and associated data, subject to legal requirements.

7. Children’s Privacy

Hypefit is not intended for users under 15. If we learn that a child has provided us personal data, we will delete it.

8. International Users

If you access the Service outside the United States, your data may be processed in countries with different data laws.
